Addy is resting comfortably in preparation for her surgery. The stent the Dr put in originally has giving addy pain and fevers over the past 5 months as well as her hearing has gotten worse as time went on. Today they are going to look at what's going on inside and replace the stent.
Surgery is done, Addy is in recovery, but we haven't got to see her yet. Dr said everything went well. ..tonsils looked bad and were really pussy, she thinks Addy may have had chronic tonsillitis. She also said her adnoids were blocking 75% of her airway, so Addy should be able to breathe and sleep much easier now! Plus they checked inside both of her ears and everything looks great...yeah!
Addy is having her tonsils & Adnoids out today. The ENT who has done all of her ear surgeries will be doing this surgery as well, which is very comforting because she's an amazing Dr and Addy just lives her. The Dr will also be taking a close look at Addys ears during the surgery today just to make sure everything is looking good.
Surgery is scheduled to start at 12:35 & will update again once Addy goes in.
